Chinyere Eni, Regional President, Southwestern Ontario, RBC
As Regional President, Chinyere is RBC’s enterprise business leader and integrator within the Southwestern Ontario region, responsible for the business performance and the contributions of RBC. She leads a team of 3000 advisors who are focused on delivering industry leading and sustainable business growth for Personal, Financial Planning, Small Business, and Commercial clients.
Chinyere is an award-winning, nationally recognized executive leader known for advancing innovation, delivering world-class capabilities and prudent portfolio growth, across a wide variety of challenging operating environments. Within RBC, as a seasoned executive leader, her career spans Personal and Commercial Banking, Financial Planning, Group Risk Management, Enterprise Strategy and as a trusted strategic advisor across businesses. Her strategic capacities have been focused on enabling proactive and relevant financial and business advice to support thriving people, businesses and communities.
In her previous commercial banking executive role and as a member of RBC’s Commercial Banking Operating Committee, her leadership was critical, across RBC businesses and functions, in leading the transformational shift in RBC’s Indigenous market presence by launching RBC Origins. Under her leadership, net-new roles were brought to market, RBC’s first Truth and Reconciliation Office and Reconciliation Action Plan were launched along with first to market products and services, all while delivering differentiated top-tier business performance.
Chinyere is also passionate about helping communities thrive through market leadership. She has Chaired the Governance Committee on Wilfrid Laurier University’s Board of Governors and Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Community Granting Committee. She has served as Board Director at Women’s College Hospital and is the Ontario Regional Representative for the War Amputations of Canada.
Chinyere holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, and a Personal Financial Planning (P.F.P.) designation.
In business, Chinyere has been recognized for her transformational leadership as featured in the Globe and Mail, Canadian SME Business Magazine and on RBC’s global website. She is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Award for service to Canada, RBC Global Citizen award and as a 2025 WXN Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada in the executive category. In March 2026 she was announced as the Corporate Leadership winner of the YWCA Toronto Distinction Award.
