Jordan Montour

Jordan Montour (Kanien’kehá:ka -Mohawk), Investment Advisor, Goldman Sachs

Jordan Sha:karónia Montour is a proud Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy from Kahnawake, Quebec. 

A first generation college graduate, Jordan received his BA from Dartmouth College in 2017, where he dual majored in Environmental Studies and Native American Studies modified with Geography. Jordan went on to pursue his MBA at Yale University, where he graduated in 2024. 

Jordan currently serves as an Investment Advisor at Goldman Sachs, based in Boston, where he builds and manages long term investment portfolios of institutional capital on behalf of Native American tribes and First Nations across Turtle Island. 

Prior to his work at Goldman Sachs, Jordan was an investor at Endurance Companies, a San Francisco-based multi-family office and venture studio; at Boston based institutional investment firm Cambridge Associates; as an analyst at Deutsche Bank in New York City; and as co-founder of the Sovereign Nations Group, a startup investment and economic development consultancy serving Indigenous communities. 

Outside of his work, Jordan is passionate about being outside on the land, where he can be found running, hiking, camping, backpacking, skiing, or seeking out natural bodies of water. Jordan is an avid endurance athlete and semi-regularly competes in triathlons and other races. Jordan serves on the Board of the Indigenous Leadership Circle, and the Finance & Investment Committee of the Native Land Conservancy.
