The BC Government and BC Hydro have set plans to twin the transmission corridor between Prince George and Terrace, BC to serve an increasing industrial electricity load in the region. The BC Government and BC Hydro have commenced engagements with First Nations impacted by the project routing as of the fall of 2023. FNMPC has confirmed two capacity support engagements with its members impacted by the project and is currently assisting these members with early-stage considerations concerning this large-scale transmission project.
