The Chatham-Kent to Lakeshore Transmission Line Project is one project of a series to be built by Hydro One in Southwestern Ontario. FNMPC has been providing support to two First Nations members who are impacted by the buildout. FNMPC support has focused on the environmental regulatory considerations and the economic and legal aspects of project term sheet negotiation. FNMPC’s support to this project helped our First Nations members establish a 50-50 equity sharing precedent with Hydro One that will apply to the build-out of planned and future projects in this area.
